MBCIC is a full service retirement plan consulting firm, focusing on institutional investment consulting for corporations, non-profits and municipalities in the Midwest. We focus on creating retirement plan solutions at a plan and participant level.
MBCIC utilizes both Retirement Plan Advisory Group (RPAG) and fi360 analytical tools. These tools allow us to assist small, mid-size, and large plan sponsors with every aspect of institutional investing, from strategy and structure, to ongoing investment management, as well as a wide range of special projects. It is our goal to serve your organization in many respects, like an extension of its finance and benefits departments. In acting as your plan sponsor’s advocate, we will assist in proactively managing the multifaceted plan related responsibilities and the service providers. The knowledge and experience of our team provide a valuable timesaving resource that assists in developing and maintaining a solid strategy for your organization’s retirement plans.
WHY MBC?
Our consulting environment is void of all proprietary products/services. We retain selling agreements and detailed knowledge relating to virtually all of the major retirement plan providers, and have allegiances to none. The benefit to our clients by working with an organization that is exclusively focused on the institutional marketplace is that we are institutional investment professionals. We possess the depth of talent and breadth of capabilities to fully understand each unique situation and then in a consultative fashion deliver the most independent and objective guidance to assist our clients in tactically pursuing/achieving their goals.
We are members in good standing of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA) which is the premier national organization for career retirement plan professionals as well as the Profit Sharing/401(k) Council of America (PSCA), a nonprofit association advocating increased retirement security through profit sharing, 401(k) and related defined contribution programs. As it relates to fiduciary best practices and compliance we complement our internal process with tools developed by the Foundation for Fiduciary Studies (fi360), a leader in the industry, and a nonprofit organization established to develop and advance practice standards of care (practices) for investment fiduciaries, which includes trustees and investment committee members, as well as brokers, bankers and investment advisors.
